Vulnerability is the Essence of Beauty.

Vulnerability. Normally an emotionally unavailable person would stay away from a person who has found the courage to invite them to this place. "Red flag" he say's. A year ago, I'd run the other direction - but now... I want to be invited to that place.
A blonde bombshell, once said it in a song:

"Talk to me -- tell me your dreams
Am I in them?
Tell me your fears
Are you scared?
Tell me your stories
I'm not afraid of who you are
We can fly!"

We wait, for that queue that allows us to be ourselves with that one person, who might possibly be "the one":

"Poor is the man
Whose pleasures depend
On the permission of another"

How wonderful it is when he doesn't ask you permission. When he feels comfortable enough, or even that connection that makes him feel he can take you there.

"love me, that's right. Love me"

You stare at his watering eyes, and think "wow... love me"
And you are... in love. For just a few seconds, you love him. You want to take him, and press your mouth to his... breathing in his breath, and inhaling his soul - because that is what he just exposed to you... his soul. A fraction, but enough. Oh that vulnerable place. How beautiful it truly is...

  2. You're sounding more like Sandra Dee singing "Hopelessly Devoted" rather than "emotionally unavailable".

oh and the "poor is the man" quote is one than has reverberated in my head for years.
